Angie Fox - Night of the Living Demon Slayer

I love Angie Fox's style of writing. I have enjoyed all of this series, but this one was not my favorite. The Biker Witch books are usually side splitting funny, this one took a much more serious bend. It was still fun to read, but there weren't any run for the potty moments. I was glad to see some of the usual characters make an appearance. Pirate and Flappy are so enjoyable.
This story is set in New Orleans and focuses on a Voodoo practitioner who has crossed the line with his magic. Lizzie, Grandma and the rest of the biker witches come up with some awesome magic of their own to take him down, but it's not as easy as 1-2-3. Hijinks ensue, Pirate, Flappy and Lizzie's hubby all help to settle the score, but the price of all that remains to be seen.

Angie Fox - A Ghostly Gift

A short, sweet, romantic love story that began in WWII is uncovered while Verity and her ghostly gangster Frankie investigate an old bar turned antique store. This is a quick read and leaves you wanting more. #angiefox #southernspirits

Angie Fox's Southern Spirits

Angie has done it again! If you enjoyed the Biker Witches and Pirate the talking dog you're going to love Verity and Lucy.
Verity accidentally traps the spirit of 1920s era gangster on her grandmother's property and the hilarity ensues.
A spunky lead character with a can do attitude and a skunk named Lucy made for a book I couldn't put down.  I am looking forward to the next installment in the series.

Blog Mania 2010 and Kindle Contest

The folks over at Bitten by Books has this really cool contest going on. I couldn't help but to take the time to blog about it myself. I am not a big blogger, and don't have a big group of followers, but I really like to read and to share that with anyone who will listen.

Bitten by Books is giving away a Kindle and boy could I use one. My husband is so frustrated with the piles of books all over our house! I have them stacked in every room. The shelves are running over, they are in grocery bags, tote bags and stacked by the bed about 4 feet high! He is always complaining about them, and why don't I get rid of them, etc, etc. Well, I reread them, I share them with friends and they are the one indulgence I have.

But... a Kindle could solve some of the problems...at least for future purchases anyway. :) I wouldn't have to look for storage space for anymore books, and I could make him a very happy camper for a little while.

So if you have the same problem I have, you love books, you love to read, but you have no more storage and no extra cash to spend on a Kindle, check out Bitten by Books contest. Maybe one of us can win and get a jump start on changing our future book buying habits!

Even if you aren't interested in the Kindle contest, Bitten by Books always has something awesome happening!
